Our inovatiest components of the farm
Our Subsystems
Our farm comprises many subsystems. These are needed for a fully automated farm. We developed most of these subsystems ourselves because we always need efficient, modular solutions. This means we designed many of our components in CAD. As you can see on the right, we also made our custom ESP-32-S3-WROOM platform. We also have an XY-core system, which is common in 3D printers, with our two stepper motors. We also have a fully self-designed mechanism that takes the boxes out of the elevator. This mechanism is quite complex. A servo holds the box, and then two motors move a rail that goes under the box, thereby moving the tray into or out of the elevator.

We also developed our custom application to controll the hole farm and their subsystems.
Our application was created using Flutter, an open-source, cross-platform tool that uses the programming language Dart. The main advantage of Flutter is that you only need to program once for every device (Android, Windows, iOS, macOS, Linux, etc.). It also has a lot of styling features.
